Rugged Military PDA

The new generation data logger has been conceived for the harshest field conditions encountered but is ergonomic and lightweight. The ruggedised mobile unit is a Windows CE based HP iPAQ PDA computer and is fully sealed with a tough transparent screen membrane fused to a special UV stable polymer top. The 2007-S was designed for Military and Field Data collection.

The PREDATOR rugged pda has far more strength than a military spec'd pda at a fraction the weight and is about one third the price not to mention the lower cost of ownership during its 5 year life expectancy.

The 2007S rugged military pda has been proven and excels in desert countries and jungles where other military spec'd PDA's have failed due to fine wind blown sand and mud. Due to its innovative design, the 2007S PREDATOR series is much lighter and sleeker than its competitors, fits comfortably in your hand but is built to take punishment in desert and jungle environments where a rugged pda is essential.

A sealed quality Swiss LEMO (same as Leica Vector target rangefinder Binoculars) not the cheap standard DB9 connector assures no ingress of dust or water around rugged pda pins. A blank plug seals the recessed socket of the 2007s rugged military pda when the port is not connected for data retrieval and comunications.

Excellent Dust and Water Seal to IP67. Special 2007S rugged pda version can be used underwater. No tools required to install iPAQ can be fitted in 20 seconds. Removal of iPAQ is 10 seconds.
